The underground Kestrel Mine Extension comprised of two further box cuts, ROM pads and a haul road network. Nationwide Civil are the major plant and labour supplier to the principle, BGC Contracting.

  • 500,000m3 of earthwork cut to fill
  • Construction of underground portals using precast concrete units, installed by 400 tonne cranes
  • 900 mega litre environment dam and sediment ponds
  • 5.5km of access road to seal
  • Construct Mining Industrial Area
  • Construction of Rom Pad and Lay Down areas
